Attention on Dewey Trial Spans Globe

As Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP collapsed in 2012, Bruno Gattai was the head of the Italian practice, managing 18 partners and about 100 other lawyers and staff split between offices in Rome and Milan. Now head of Milan-based Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners -- a much smaller law firm specializing in private equity M&A -- he is following from afar the trial taking place in Manhattan against Dewey’s ex-chief financial officer Joel Sanders, ex-chairman Steven Davis, and former executive director Stephen DiCarmine.
